Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The "Travel" tab on this website has some hotel suggestions. The hotel block under the Hammerly-Hauger wedding is offered at The Moxy- Downtown Minneapolis, which is also where the rehearsal dinner will be taking place. We have another room block at Aloft Minneapolis also under the "Hammerly/Hauger Wedding". Make sure to make your reservations by 5/7 to get the discounted group rate!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance when you RSVP.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal/cocktail. We suggest floral dresses or cocktail dresses for women and suits (tie optional) for men. It’s June in Minnesota- so it could be 65 degrees or 90 degrees! Our ceremony & cocktail hour will be outside, weather permitting, so dress accordingly!

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:00 PM. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled! The ceremony will be at the Shasta Tent, and we’ll have guidance and signage to get you where you need to be!

To RSVP, go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by April 27th so we can plan accordingly!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the St. Anthony Parking Garage (201 Second Ave SE Minneapolis, MN 55414) which should cost about $12 for the entire wedding day. If you do park in the ramp- please take the elevator down to "Level T". From the tunnel, follow the signs to Aster Cafe. Once you get to Aster Cafe, the patio will be on your left and our ceremony will be under the Shasta Tent. There’s also plentiful metered parking around the venue that is available for parking as well.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.

Will there be transportation from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

It’s about a five minute drive from the hotel to the venue, and about a fifteen minute walk across the Stone Arch Bridge. We will be providing Uber vouchers for guests to use to get to and from the hotel & venue on the big day! The code is valid for locations anywhere within a 25 mile radius from Aster Cafe. Our voucher code is RNRMQNDXDCE. To prepare, just download the Uber app and set up an account and you’ll be good to go! On the day of, open the Uber app and tap "Account" in the bottom right corner. From "Account", tap the "Wallet" button. Scroll to the "Vouchers" section and tap "Add voucher code". You'll then type in the code provided and your ride will be compensated!

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! Unless it’s a torrential downpour or a thunderstorm, we’ll try to be outside under the tent. In the instance of severe weather, we will move inside to the River Room!
