USNA Chapel Rules:

Answer

NO photography is permitted inside the chapel. NO reentry once you have exited the chapel. NO late entry into the chapel will be permitted. Prohibited items/activities: glass, water, alcohol, sand, candles, receiving lines, etc.

Ceremony Access and Parking:

Answer

IMPORTANT: You must complete the 5512 Form in order to gain access to the yard. Completed forms must be submitted to nabsdaccess@usna.edu. Access request forms should be submitted as soon as possible, as processing times vary and could take 10-30 days depending on the current backlog. The Access Team will notify you by email once your request has been processed and provide instructions for obtaining your credential. On the day of the ceremony, vehicle access is permitted via Gate 8 with any government issued ID. THIS MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GAIN ACCESS TO USNA. DoD individuals can no longer escort non-credentialed individuals at this time. Uber/Lyft will not be able to drive onto USNA. No reentry with your vehicle once you have exited USNA. The garage near the chapel is the most convenient parking option. NO pedestrian access will be allowed at any time.

Please arrive promptly at 12:00PM. Guests will be seated at 12:10PM. The ceremony begins at 12:30PM. No late entry will be permitted once the ceremony has begun.

Civilian: Formal attire. Military: Service dress blues or service equivalent.

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on the wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, it will appear on your RSVP.

Are restrooms available during the ceremony?

Guest bathrooms are located across the street at the gatehouse.
