Il Giardino di Lilli – Charming Italian café for coffee, pastries, and gelato. In Del Mar: Viewpoint Brewing Company – Great brewery with views of the lagoon. Monarch Ocean Pub – Awesome ocean views and a fun atmosphere. Board & Brew – The best sandwich spot (the secret sauce is a must). Tamarindo Del Mar – Great modern Mexican food and cocktails. The Fish Market – Classic seafood spot right by the water. At the Estancia Hotel: Mustangs & Burros – Excellent Mexican food and great margaritas. Hiking Trails: Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve – One of the most beautiful coastal hikes in San Diego with incredible ocean views. Torrey Pines Gliderport Trail – Scenic trail that takes you down to Black’s Beach. Great views of the paragliders as well. Sunset Cliffs Coastal Trail – A beautiful coastal walking path along the cliffs, especially great at sunset. Beaches: La Jolla Shores Marine Street Beach Windansea Beach Del Mar City Beach – Jake & Faith’s favorite.
Birch Aquarium at Scripps – A great aquarium with beautiful ocean views. La Jolla Cove – A great spot to see sea lions and take in the coastal views. San Diego Zoo or San Diego Zoo Safari Park – Both are world-famous and worth visiting if you have extra time.
