Jake and I met our first year at Framingham State College (now University). Jake had transferred from Champlain College and I was an anxious freshman. We sat next to one another in Geography and often got in trouble for distracting one another. Jake tried his best to get me to hang out that semester, but I often went home on the weekends. Our friendship continued to blossom as we worked together as orientation leaders over the next few summers. Eventually, we reconnected after graduation and have been making memories every since.
