Jake and Erin met their sophomore year of college at CU Boulder through a mutual friend in the Business School. After being introduced to Erin, Jake made sure to get to class early each day so he could choose the right seat and Erin would have no choice but to sit next to him (she didn't mind). Jake often pretended to "need help" on homework and projects, and Erin made a point to always invite herself to his parties. The two became close friends through college and (finally!) started dating after graduation.

Jake enlisted the help of their friends to create a fake plan for a double date night. Erin was under the impression they were meeting their friends for a drink, but Jake had other plans! As they were walking to the restaurant, to Erin's surprise, Jake got down on one knee and proposed in front of Union Station. Through the shock (and tears) Erin managed to say YES! They then spent the night getting drinks at Union Station and dinner in Downtown Denver. We are so excited to take this next step and celebrate with all of you!
