Question

I'm confused, aren't you two already married?

Answer

Yes, we got married on July 10, 2021, but are throwing a reception for our friends and family on October 15, 2022.

Question

Did I mix up the dates? I thought the reception was in August 2022

Answer

Due to unforeseen challenges, we've had to do some slight date and venue changes. The correct date is October 15, 2022 at DoubleTree by Hilton Madison East in Madison, WI

Question

What's the best airport to fly into?

Answer

Check out our Travel page for all the info you need for getting here. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What's the best way to get around Madison?

Answer

Once in Madison, rental cars are not completely necessary for getting around. Ride share companies like Uber and Lyft are readily available and are great options. If flying into MKE, a rental car is the best option for traveling to Madison. If you'd prefer not to rent a car, there are a couple bus lines that run between Milwaukee and Madison (BadgerBus, Megabus, etc.).

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We recognize that there are a lot of different factors when it comes to traveling with children. Children are welcome to attend, but please note that the venue and entertainment for the evening are adult-focused. If you'd would prefer to get a sitter and make it a night out just for the parents, that's fine by us. Or if it's easier to bring the kiddos along, that's great too. Do what makes sense for your family, just keep us in the loop when you RSVP. We can't wait to celebrate with whomever can make it.

Question

But what will I wear??

Answer

Our goal for this event is to throw a dance party that we'll never forget. As far as attire goes, if you love dressing up in a dress/suit - awesome! We can't wait to see it. If nice boots and dress jeans are more your style, that's great too! Dress in clothes that make you feel like YOU.

Question

What about COVID-19?

Answer

We are cautiously optimistic about October 2022. However we will be adhering to any local guidelines/regulations in place at the time of the event. We STRONGLY encourage all of our guests to be vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19. We ask that if you are experiencing any symptoms to please stay home to protect our loved ones. If you can get tested, please do so to ensure you are not carrying the virus.
