Is there transportation provided to and from the hotels from the wedding venue?

Answer

The wedding venue is a 20-30 min drive from downtown Austin hotels/airports. There are also hotels closer in both Buda and Kyle. We ask that you please organize your own transportation to and form the wedding. Uber's will also be easily accessible after the wedding.

Can I bring a date?

Yes, of course! Please include your guest's full name in your RSVP so we may accommodate.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Austin is hot in September (see other FAQ). We ask all guests to dress in semi-formal attire, while trying to remain as comfortable as possible. Also, while we are in Texas, we would prefer that all chaps, lassos and boots with spurs be left at home, so that no one gets hurt on the dance floor.

What is the weather in Austin in September?

Answer

We will be blunt, it is hot. Plan for degrees upwards of 90 degrees most days. Pending weather, the ceremony will be outdoors. The wedding reception will be indoors.

Will there be a photographer or videographer?

Answer

Yes. Elena and Jake will be having professionals throughout the day take photos to capture the magic. It is likely that all guests will be captured in the photos at some point. We ask everyone to remain good sports, and we will ask permission before publishing photos containing you in any and all print material.
