What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly. Please send RSVP and regrets to: Jdburghartwedding@gmail.com

Where can I stay if I don't want to drive home?

Answer

We have made a group booking at Spring Hill Suites- Marriott Downtown. Address- One River Front Plaza, Lawrence, KS 66044. This is 7.8 miles from our house and about a 12 minute drive. Group booking- 844-669-4311 Other hotels and options in Lawrence that you may choose to stay at: 1. Double Tree by Hilton Address- 200 Mcdonald drive Lawrence, KS 66044. This is 9.4 miles from our house and about a 14 minute drive. 2. Town Place Suites (Marriott) Address- 900 Hampshire st, Lawrence, KS 66044. This is 8.1 miles from our house and about a 13 minute drive. 3. Hampton Inn (Hilton) Address- 2300 W 6th st Lawrence, KS 66044. This is 9.1 miles from our house and about a 14 minute drive. 4. Lawrence also has several Air BnBs available the night of the wedding if you would prefer to go that route.

What is the best way to get to your house?

Answer

The best and easiest way to access our house is to take interstate 70, take exit 204, go north on east 1450 rd/ N 3rd street, turn right onto Wellman road (midland farm store will be on the left hand side), turn right onto 35th st, and our house will be located a quarter mile up the road. When on wellman road, you will see signs for Circle S. Ranch. Our street is located at the second sign for Circle S. Ranch.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire/dressy casual. Please no jeans/denim. Our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors on a grass field, so ladies, please keep this in mind when selecting footwear! We are anticipating a hot evening and will have tents and fan misters to help keep everyone cool but please wear what is cool and comfortable!

Where should guests park?

Answer

Parking is limited, if possible please carpool. Parking is available on our driveway and our land.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be taking place in our backyard.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bride and groom will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the tents where we will be serving appetizers and beverages.

What will be served for dinner?

Answer

We will be having BBQ from Hog Wild BBQ. The menu will be beef brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken with sides of BBQ beans, potato salad and garden salad.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, you are welcome to bring your little ones to our celebration.
