Flight

Mexico City International Airport (MEX)

Many cities have direct flights to Mexico City, including Philadelphia (new since June 2025!), New York (EWR & JFK), Chicago, Minneapolis, Austin, Dallas, Denver, Seattle, and more. In our experience, customs upon arrival has been very efficient and easy. For most people, we recommend Uber from the airport into the city. Taxis are also available.

Travel Note

Passports

Don't forget to update your passports! (Must be valid at time of entry, not expired. Make sure there's a blank page for stamps!)

Getting Around

Our favorite ways to get around Mexico City include Uber, biking, and walking! Most of our favorite neighborhoods are located centrally. A few sightseeing attractions require Ubers outside of the city center. We love using Ecobici, the local bike share app. It's easy to use, and there are many bike docking locations throughout the city.

Where To Stay

Our favorite neighborhoods to stay are Condesa and Roma Norte. We recommend staying here (although our venue is in the Juarez neighborhood, most people will stay in these two neighborhoods). We especially love the area right near Parque Mexico or Parque Espana. Text us for additional questions on where to stay!

Travel Note

Airbnb & VRBO

If traveling with a group of people, there are many affordable Airbnb (or) VRBO options in the city. This is one of our favorite cost-effective and fun options in Mexico City.
