We're getting married!

Jake and Christine’s journey began at their freshman orientation at the University at Buffalo in July 2014. Though their initial conversation was brief, it ignited a spark that soon grew into something much deeper. A month later in August 2014, destiny brought them together again through a mutual friend who invited them to a group outing the first weekend of college. From that moment on, their bond was undeniable as they embarked on their college adventure together. Their connection was instant, fueled by a shared sense of humor and core values. What started with late-night study sessions, FaceTime “Breaking Bad” marathons, and countless Taco Bell runs, evolved into a relationship marked by career milestones, watching their favorite TV shows like Jeopardy and Big Brother, a mutual love for health and wellness, and cheering on their favorite sports teams together, the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees. On March 3rd, 2024, Jake proposed to Christine at the exact same spot on University at Buffalo’s North Campus where he asked her to be his girlfriend almost 10 years prior. Christine and Jake believe they could not have reached where they are today without each other. No matter where they are—whether in college dorms, apartments, living with family, or traveling through Airbnb’s—home is wherever they are together.
