Let's Taco Bout a Wedding!

In 2020, Jake was at his favorite bar in Bend, Cascade West, enjoying a game of pool as he often did. Mid-game, a confident, cute blonde approached him and asked, “Are you single?” Unfortunately, Jake was seeing someone at the time, so he felt he had to respond appropriately. “I’m sorry, I’m taken, and I probably shouldn’t even be talking to you…” he said, and then he walked away. Fast forward two years… Brook was at her favorite bar with friends, relaxing by the fireplace before heading out to the next spot. Suddenly, a friend who had just stepped away to grab a drink rushed back to her. “You have to meet my friend!” he exclaimed, pulling her toward the bar. As they approached, she was taken aback to see a familiar face—the cute, tattooed guy she remembered from this very bar! Excitement lit up his face as he recognized her. He reached out to introduce himself. “Hi, I’m Jake, it’s nice to meet—” But before he could finish, she couldn’t contain herself. “Oh, I know exactly who you are!” she beamed, and with a smile, she turned and walked right out of the bar. Needless to say, Jake wasn’t about to let that moment slip away. He tracked Brook down, and here we are today! (As our good friend Nick would say, the rest is history!)
