The Blackport Family Lake House
This is our Family Lake House! Please come enjoy Kettle Lake while you're in town! It's October but if the weather is nice we have two kyaks, and a paddle boat. (Please be sure all kyaks, floats, or paddle boat gets fully pulled up off of the shore to avoid them floating away.) Walkable to the Nighthawk, Campau Corner Gas Station, Dollar General, and Caledonia Elementary (Brittany's beloved childhood playground, open to the public outside of school hours).
Provin Trails
This is the perfect representation of how unique Michigan is. Beach meets woods. Sand forests! I think forests with sand floors are the coolest. This is where Jake and I had our engagement pictures done. Pack a cooler and walk the trails or sit in the sand and enjoy the sunset. Cool place to see in person.
Uccello's Ristorante- Caledonia
This is where Brittany works! Big Sports bar, easily accommodates parties of 6. Usually a short wait regardless of quote. Food Reccomendations: Pizza Puffs! so simple, so addicting. Margherita Dip! and Spinach dip. Cheesy Bread with any pizza toppings (bruschetta mix is a delicious topping) U-fries (Fries tossed in garlic parmesan butter) Chicken Bruschetta (chicken topped with bruschetta mix, side of asparagus and rosemary potatos... comes with chibata or gralic bread upon request and ranch is recommended!) Chicken guda flatbread (spicy but SO good and good leftovers warm or cold. definetly get ranch with it) Tomato Cream or Sausage Cream (tom cream with sausage and peas) for CYO pastas... Chicken Club (It's a sandwich that comes with two breasts of chicken, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese and Bacon, If you take one of the chicken breasts, lettuce and tom off you can make a salad with ranch and have a chicken sandwhich and fries leftover. Air Frye usage available at Lake house)
Family Tavern
We love this place! Definetly a hole in the wall. Pool tables, food (patty melt is Britt's favorite), Live music on Fridays, Kereoke on Saturdays, Lots of Locals.

Things to do: Shopping (duh) Sports Bars: -Beltline Uccellos (not the one britt works at - reccommend pizza puffs tho) -Beer City (late night food specials- good tap selection) -BJS (Newer restaurant by chickfila, has their own beers and fancy food. A little pricier but the late night food specials make it cheap. Mojo's Dueling Piano Bar & Restaurant
Love this place! Night club upstairs. Two people singing and playing popular songs on the piano. Highly recommend.
New Holland Brewing - Grand Rapids Brewpub (The Knickerbocker)
Large Local Brewery with a social life at night. They have Chicken and Waffle pizza!
