The Tremont House

We are thrilled that many of you will be traveling to Galveston to celebrate with us! We've contracted guestrooms at the Tremont for October 18-20, if you would like to arrive early or stay late, or have any questions relating to the Tremont House or upgrade availability, please email Jordyn at jcowan@thetremonthouse.com The cut off date for guestroom reservations is September 18, we do anticipate the block to sell out. The Tremont House does have a cancellation policy of 48 hours prior to arrival, and check in is at 4:00 PM. The Tremont House is located just 5 blocks from the Lyceum.

Flight

HOU or IAH

There are 2 airports in Houston that you can fly into to get to Galveston. Houston Hobby (HOU) is about 45 minutes from downtown Galveston. Hobby is primarily a Southwest airport with a few American and Delta flights. Houston Bush Intercontinental (IAH) is a massive airport about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Galveston. Bush has flights from nearly any airline.

Travel Note

Ground Transportation to Galveston

To get from one of the airports to the island, there are a few options. As a note, all of the wedding events are within walking distance of the Tremont Hotel, and there will be a shuttle to and from the Tremont for the wedding. You can rent a car at the airport. You can take a ride share from the airport to the island; however, you will likely need to book a local cab to get back to the airport from the island. There is also a shuttle from the airport, which we’ve linked below.
