Maid of Honor
Meg and Autumn met in Geometry class during their freshman year of high school and haven't left each other's side since. Everyone deserves a Meg in their life - she is compassionate, smart, and so loyal. Get them into a room together, and you are lucky to get a word in between their giggles. When she isn't exploring somewhere new, you can find Meg gardening, reading, or spending time with her husband Declan. Meg has been instrumental in Jake and Autumn's relationship - from helping pick out Autumn's first-date outfit nine years ago to choosing a wedding dress today. She has seen them through many milestones and phases - even as a roommate! They are so happy to have her stand next to them as they marry!
Sam Oostendorp
Best Man
Sam is Jake's younger brother. Always up for a good time, Sam is a bright, funny, and laid-back guy. He enjoys playing sports and games with friends, working on home projects, and relaxing at home with his wife Alex and kids Monty and Hugo. Jake and Autumn asked Sam to stand at their wedding because of his friendliness and strength of character. They've shared many fond memories with Sam, from wild Grand Valley parties, to wacky Renaissance Faires, to windy golf outings and more, Sam has been a close friend to their relationship since it began, almost ten years ago!
Kat Bruzios
Day of Director
Kat and Autumn met in 2020 while they were getting their PhDs at Washington State University. Colleagues quickly turned to friends as they spent their days working hard and playing hard! From patio happy hours to family dinner nights - always planning one fun thing to look forward to! It wasn't long before Kat, Autumn, and Jake were having weekly game nights, hosting parties, and going on outdoor adventures. Kat is the person you want behind you in a fight - she is clever, scrappy, and knows how to get the job done - which is why we asked her to be our Day of Director!
Tanner Day
Officiant
Tanner is a close friend of Autumn and Jake. The story of how they met is a fun one - Jake and Autumn used to host brewpub trivia, and Tanner was a frequent (and loud!) participant, keeping the energy up with his witty humor and magnetic personality. While out on a date, Jake and Autumn happened to bump into him at a restaurant and discovered that they had a lot more in common than just beer and trivia! Along with his partner Breanna, the four became fast friends, enjoying many golf outings, board game nights, and holiday parties together. Tanner's charismatic and passionate personality led Jake and Autumn to ask him to be their officiant. A natural leader, Tanner graciously agreed to conduct their wedding ceremony. Thanks, Father Day!
