FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jake Dye and Ashley Every
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please let us know if you can make it by Sept. 3, 2026 so we can figure out how much food and how many chairs we'll need!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly (manifesting) at 3 p.m., but we'll be in the venue and have the doors open at 2 p.m.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear semi-formal attire! That means stylish but you don't need to be too dressy!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're limited to a certain number of guests and we're trying to meet the balance of having everyone we want to join us while of course being eager to welcome as many plus ones as we can. If you received a plus one, they will appear on your invitation and under your RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Nikiski Senior Center has a big parking lot and we'll be the only ones in the building that day so we're hoping parking won't be an issue!

Question

Will the Wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our plan, weather permitting, is to hold the ceremony behind the senior center above the lake. Besides that brief event, the rest of the festivities will be inside the center.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We're asking that guests do not take photos during the ceremony. Otherwise, ahead of time and during the reception, please feel free!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

We've not nailed down all the details yet, but beer, wine, seltzers and champagne will be available on us! The venue does not allow hard liqueur.
