Flying:
You CAN fly onto the island. There are direct flights out of JFK and Boston/Logan.
Driving/Rental Cars:
If you are planning on driving onto the island you need to book you ferry reservation now! Go to this website and book now: https://www.steamshipauthority.com (it’s easier to do this on a computer, the mobile site does not allow you to book car reservations).

Bus/No Car:
The best way to get to the island without a vehicle is to take a bus from Boston, either from the airport (Logan) or the train station (South Station). I use Peter Pan Bus. If you are traveling into Boston by train or car it is best to catch the bus from South Station. Once you book the ticket you will get instructions on where to meet the bus.
Once you arrive in Woods Hole, you can purchase a ferry ticket they cost $20.
