Campus Martius Park
In the summer, Campus Martius in Downtown Detroit creates a beach in the middle of the city with sand, live music, and drinks. Visit the surrounding area for shopping, drinks, and lots of yummy food!
Downtown Ann Arbor
Although it isn't East Lansing (I bet you can guess who's writing this!), there are lots of fun shops, restaurants, and bars to visit in downtown Ann Abor! Alyssa loves Rock, Paper, Scissors, Bitty and Beu's Coffee shop, and Kerrytown Market, while some of Jake's favorite places from college are Good Time Charley's, Blue Tractor, and Tomuken.
Downtown Plymouth
Visit downtown Plymouth for lots of delicious restaurants, coffee shops, and a cute park! Check out "Music in the Air" for live music on Fridays at 7pm in Kellogg Park!
Ottava Via
Visit Jake and Alyssa's backyard! They face this delicious Italian restaurant in Corktown from their balcony and highly recommend everything here! If you save any room for dessert, stop by Momento Gelato and Coffee down the street to try Jake and Alyssa's favorite ice cream spot!
