The Stockyards have lots of shops and restaurants where you can get your cowboy fix. There is a twice daily cattle drive held at 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 131 East Exchange Ave. The Fort Worth Herd steers can be viewed before and after the cattle drive in their pens behind the Livestock Exchange Building on East Exchange Ave.
For the John Wayne fan, there is a special exhibition right now at the John Wayne: An American Experience: The John Wayne Gun Collection, the Guns that Won the West. Located at 2501 Rodeo Plaza in the heart of the Fort Worth Stockyards. This is a daily exhibit open from 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
