We do not. The only thing we want from you is to see you at our wedding. What is the dress code?

Answer

The Friday night event is smart casual to semiformal. The wedding is formal. The Sunday brunch is casual. The wedding party will be wearing burgundy, but you should also feel free to wear burgundy.

Can we bring kids?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see your little ones at all of our events. The wedding reception will have a kids table with a babysitter and activities like coloring books where kids and babies are welcome to hang out. But they will also have a seat at your table (let us know if they need a high chair).

How do we get to the events?

Answer

The wedding venue is less than a ten minute walk from any of the recommended hotels. If you are staying elsewhere, we recommend taking the subway or using Uber/Lyft/taxis. New York taxis are safe, metered, and accept credit card. New York subways accept Apple Pay and Android Pay (or you can purchase a ticket at a machine). Is there parking?

Answer

NYC is not a parking friendly city. Street parking can be hard to come by and parking in a garage is extremely expensive. We highly recommend taking an Uber/Lyft/taxi or taking public transportation. We do not have any reserved parking spots at any event.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! If you have specific accommodations you need, let us know ahead of time so we can inform the venue.

Is Jessie taking Jake's last name?

Answer

No! Jessie will continue to be Ms. Jessie Newman (she will not be using the title Mrs.). Jake will continue to be Mr. Jake Schmidt.

There's a scavenger hunt?

Answer

Jake said Jessie couldn't bring five pairs of plushies getting married to the wedding, but there's no way Jake is going to read this FAQ. Jessie has hidden the five wedding plush pairs around the venue in places that hopefully Jake will not find them. The first person to tell Jessie where all five pairs are wins a prize.
