It’s still up for debate exactly when we met — Jen swears it was junior year during our Kansas City internships, while Jake insists it was at some point during freshman year. Either way, after that summer we became close friends and spent much of senior year at Cornell hanging out — nights out with friends, late-night pizza, and a few friendly date nights. After graduation, we stayed loosely in touch until life brought us both to Arkansas. When Jen moved for work, Jake coincidentally wound up there as well and it felt like no time had passed. Two years later, our friendship started to turn into something more — an open invite to the brewery, a birthday celebration, and finally dinner at Jake’s house (salmon, of course — he was definitely trying to impress). Since then, it’s been over two and a half years full of laughter, adventures, and family — and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter surrounded by the people who have been part of our story all along!
