The airport is a 30-45 min drive from the resort. Once you book your flights, please forward the details to Jake/Erica so we can organize a shuttle service with Grand Velas.
Travel Note
Please make sure your passports are valid through the travel dates. Passports can take up to 6-8 weeks for renewal!
Hotel
A block of rooms have been reserved for our guests at a special rate. This rate is available from Tuesday, May 6th until Wednesday, May 14th. Jake and Erica will be staying from Wednesday, May 7th to Tuesday, May 13th. Please note there is a two-night minimum, so staying on Friday and Saturday is required. If you would like to participate in ALL wedding activities, then we suggest you stay from Thursday, May 8th - Sunday, May 11th! If you would like to stay longer, or just stay for the two-night minimum, that is fine too :) When booking, you will want to choose the second option on the list, which is the "Ambassador Ocean View Suite". We were able to get an upgrade for all of our guests to stay in ocean view suites at a lower rate than their standard room (Zen Grand Nature View). Once you reserve your rooms, you will be able to make dinner reservations. To make a reservation, email econciergerm@velasresorts.com the following details: - Preferred restaurant with day/time - Name the room is under along with confirmation/booking number Please click the "View" button below to book.
Travel Note
The rates per night are as follows. The maximum amount of guests per room is 3. Ambassador Ocean View Suite - 2 people in room $650 per person, per night Ambassador Ocean View Suite - 3 people in room $538 per person, per night We realize this is very expensive, but please remember we are staying at a 5-star all-inclusive resort, so these rates include ALL of your meals and beverages, as well as any taxes and fees. The resort features several fine dining options including a Michelin Star restaurant, access to three different pools and the beach, all with cabana/concierge service, etc (for the full list of what's included in the "All-Inclusive", please visit our Q&A tab). Each guest will also have a $50 spa credit to use each day of their stay! For more information please visit the "Spa" section on the Things To Do tab. When booking your room, you are going to be required to pay for one night of your stay upfront. The remaining balance will be automatically debited from that same card on March 24, 2025. ***PLEASE NOTE*** While we are asking you to RSVP by December 1st, that does not mean you are required to book your room that day as well. You have until February 1st to book the room, and you have until March 24th to pay for the room.
