The Pandemic Didn’t Stop Us

We are very sad to say that due to coronavirus we have been forced to semi-permanantly postpone our wedding celebrations. The good news is that on May 15, 2020, we were still legally married on a good friends boat with a small family-only ceremony. While it wasnt what we planned, it was a beautiful ceremony and intimate celebration. We are heartbroken that everyone we love couldnt be there, but we look forward to celebrating individually with all our loved ones in the months and years to come! Stay healthy and safe everyone!

Jake and Nikki's Love Story

Our love story began with our friendship, which started in High School with a group of friends that we both still cherish today. We rekindled after years of college, travels, and adventures and fell in love in the summer of 2015. This love led to Nikki moving to Hawaii where Jake was finishing out school and shredding super gnar. We ate poke, drank beer, and enjoyed endless beautiful sunsets until Nikki got into nursing school in Miami. We spent one LONG year apart while we both finished out our education. Finally, we both ended up back in our home state, got a sweet and purrfect love kitten and decided to spend the rest of our lives together. Our fate was sealed one beautiful afternoon on the beaches of Golden Garden when Nikki's sister, Kelle, sternly whispered to Jake "do it" as she pretended to take photos for her Instagram story. With two of their least UV-tolerant friends baking in the sun nearby awaiting the moment, Jake kneeled next to Nikki on their spread out picnic blanket and asked "do you want an Altoid?" Obviously, Nikki said "YES" and here we are today.
