FAQs

The Wedding Website of Katelynn LeMaster and Jacob Van Meter
Question

Where is your ceremony?

Answer

Great question! You should have gotten a wedding update card in the mail. Due to unexpected circumstances, we have to change our ceremony venue! Our ceremony will take place on July 11th, 2026 at St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church in Washington Court House, Ohio at 2:30pm! We cannot wait to see you there!

Question

How to I RSVP?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with you! You can RSVP by clicking the RSVP tab on our website!

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time or at all?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 11, 2026. If we don’t receive your response by then, we will have to count you as “not attending.” We would truly love to celebrate with everyone, but we must provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. Kindly note that guests who do not RSVP will not be able to attend, as we will not have seating, food, or drink accommodations available. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

While we’ll miss celebrating with you, we completely understand. If you’re unable to attend, please let us know by submitting your RSVP as “Not Attending.” If you have already RSVP’d “Attending” but find you can no longer make it, please notify Katelynn as soon as you are aware—thank you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 PM. We kindly ask that all guests arrive with enough time to be seated before the start of the service. Please note that the church doors will be locked shortly after 2:00 PM, and late entry will not be permitted so that the ceremony can proceed without interruption. We appreciate your understanding and timeliness as we begin this special moment.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is free parking available for both the ceremony and the reception.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

For guests who prefer not to make the long drive after the reception, we’re happy to share a nearby lodging option. The Deer Creek Lodge & Conference Center is conveniently located just 18 minutes from our venue, The Old Barn at Dry Run Farms. It offers comfortable accommodations and a relaxing place to unwind after a night of celebrating. We hope this makes your travel plans a bit easier as you join us for our special day.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

As much as we’d love to welcome plus-ones for everyone, our guest list is limited, so we’re only able to include those specifically listed on the invitation. Your invite will read “(Your Name) & Guest” if a plus-one has been given to you. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an “unplugged ceremony” (no phones or cameras). We kindly ask guests to silence all phones upon entering the church to respect the sacred sacrament. Please refrain from taking photos and be fully present with us in the moment we say “I do.” We have hired professionals to capture this special time, and we’ll happily share the photos afterward. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to join us in formal attire for our church ceremony and reception. As the wedding will take place in a church, we encourage respectful and appropriate attire. Thank you for helping us honor the setting and celebrate in a way that feels special and timeless.

Question

What color should I wear?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream, as these colors are reserved for the bride. We also ask that you avoid wearing yellow, as this color is reserved for the bridal party. We encourage guests to embrace soft, summery colors—think pastels, florals, and light, cheerful tones that complement the season and our celebration.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

For those who are kindly asking, we’re registered at Zola and Amazon. You can find all of our desired items under the Registry tab on our website. Thank you for your love and support! This means more to us than any gift as we begin our life together.
