What’s the best way to get to the venue?
Answer
Videre Estate is in Wimberley, TX, about 45 minutes from Austin and 1.5 hours from San Antonio. Driving from nearby cities: Austin – ~45 min via Ranch Road 12 San Antonio – ~1.5 hrs via I-35 N and FM 306 Houston – ~3 hrs via I-10 W and TX-80 W Laredo – ~3.5 hrs via I-35 N Dallas – ~4–4.5 hrs via I-35 S Flying In? The closest airports are Austin-Bergstrom (AUS) and San Antonio International (SAT). Both are convenient, but we recommend flying into Austin as it is closer. We recommend renting a car, as rideshare services may be limited in the Wimberley area.

Yes, Videre Estate offers 75 paved parking spaces, plus overflow parking on the property. All venue roads and parking areas are paved, so it’s smooth and easy to get in and out.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We would appreciate all guests dress in semi-formal attire. Get ready to celebrate in style! Think cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, or a blazer with dress pants. Just enough to feel polished, but comfortable enough to celebrate with us all night.

The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors.

Are there hotel recommendations or room blocks for the wedding?
Answer
Yes! We’ve reserved hotel blocks in both Wimberley and San Marcos to give guests flexibility. Since our wedding is taking place at The Videre Estate in Wimberley, we recommend booking the Wimberley hotels first if possible. Full details, including booking links, group codes, and deadlines, are available on the Lodging page of our website. Rooms can fill up quickly in the Hill Country, so we encourage you to book early!
