Where will the wedding be held?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at The Barn at Stoneybrooke in Atglen, PA.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have blocked rooms for Thursday, 5/23 and Friday, 5/24 at the Courtyard By Marriot in Coatesville, PA. Please click on the Travel page above for more information!

Will there be transportation to and from hotel and reception site?

Answer

Yes! Rich and I will be providing transportation from the hotel to the the venue so you can leave your car at the hotel. We will also provide transportation from the venue back to the hotel so that our guests can have a wonderful time without worrying about driving!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is on-site parking at the venue. However, you may want to leave your car at the hotel and use the transportation provided if you plan on drinking.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Comfort is key! No shirt, no shoes, no problem! Although the wedding is in May, the weather may not cooperate. The barn where we will host the reception is climate controlled but we suggest bringing something to keep you warm in case it gets a little chilly at night.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

The menu will be totally nut free. A buffet style dinner will be served. However, if you need a vegetarian option, please let us know! We will have to inform the caterer so that they can make you a special platter. If you have special requests or needs, please email me at jaime.l.mccabe@gmail.com. We will do our very best to accommodate.

Can I bring a date?

Your invitation will indicate if you are able to bring a date. Unfortunately, with our HUGE guest list, we can't accommodate plus ones for everyone (though we wish we could!).

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Not yet! We will keep you posted!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

You can refer to the website under the "Registry" section. We will also be registering at an actual physical store (to be determined) so that guests can shop in person if that is preferred.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children from our immediate families are invited- this will be included on your invitations. For those whose children are invited, the choice is up to you! You can have your kids there for the ceremony, the reception, or just part of it!

What's the food and drink situation?

Answer

We will be having a cocktail hour, full dinner, and an open bar. If you have special dietary needs, please be sure to let us know so we can accommodate to the best of our abilities.
