This has been one of Jaime's favorite spots since childhood - great for adults or kids. It's free and much more rustic than Fort Ticonderoga (which is also great for families or history buffs and has lovely gardens). It's right on Lake Champlain, has beautiful views, has a Rembrant bust built into the lighthouse and you can walk over the bridge to Vermont.
Fort Ticonderoga sits on Lake Champlain. It is a cool historical spot, has beautiful gardens and probably all types of reenactments.
This is a super tiny beach on the northern tip of Lake George. It's super pretty and super kid friendly. Bring a picnic or a paddleboard or kayak or volleyball and enjoy!
Lake George Village is a tourist hotspot - there are a couple of small beaches, arcades, shops, ice cream and food.
Tons of hiking in the area! Reach out to Jaime - she has recommendations from little jaunts to large hikes.
Charming Olympic village, restaurants, shops, views, nature!
For the nerds
