Question

Will there be a celebration locally for family and friends who cannot make it?

Answer

While we would love for everyone to be able to celebrate with us in the Bahamas, we understand it is simply not possible for everyone. We do plan on having a smaller scale celebration locally throughout the year so stay tuned for that. Don't worry, be happy!

Question

Do I need to bring cash or do they accept credit cards?

Answer

While most places accept credit card bring a good amount of cash with you. The island is very safe and everyone accepts American dollars. Need cash for the water taxis, some restaurants, groceries/drinks, etc. There is only one ATM on the island and its a Canada bank so who knows if it working eh?

Question

What do I need to do to prepare for Bahamas?

Answer

While Bahamas is very used to American Tourism they are still a separate country. Please make sure to bring your passport and that it is not expired. Also while there is Wi-Fi throughout the island for texts and facetime calling, you may want to also activate any international roaming service if you think you will need it. I also recommend WhatsApp for messaging if you want to get in contact with any of the local businesses there for reservations.

Question

What's the attire for the weekend?

Answer

If it was up to Vinny it would be nothing but swimsuits, tank tops and sandals but Jaime brings a bit of elegance to this relationship, so please dress semi-formal for the wedding. Beachy colors and floral dresses are encouraged.

Question

Are kids allowed at the reception?

Answer

While we do love all our friends and families little ones, we politely ask to keep our wedding reception as adults only. They are more than welcome to attend the other festivities!
