Our Magical Moment

Through the persistence of Jaime's long time friend, Bea Bonner, the happy couple were introduced. We consider ourselves lucky that she is such a headstrong little sprite because Matthew had very recently withdrawn his hat from the ring. With no intentions of ever getting serious about a girl again. But as he tells it, she asked and asked and asked, but it wasn't until he saw my picture that he decided he had to meet me. Thanks for never giving up, Bea!

Oh, Matt. He is quite the charmer isn't he? On the night of our first date, hours before he was supposed to pick Jaime up, he asks, "Hey, would it be cool if my mom drove us?" Jaime's roommate at the time, Mona, stepped in before Jaime could call off the whole thing, and we settled on an Uber. When Matt came to the door in his NICEST orange plaid, and Jaime looked up, and up, and up (Bea didn't describe just how tall...) all the awkwardness was forgotten. After an incredible dinner at SoCo, where everybody knew his name, they were smitten.
