This is a fun food court with lots of trendy and delicious mini-restaurants and cocktail bars. We had our very first date at "The Hammer Bar" on the second floor, and we return there on our anniversaries because it's so special to us! It's also the setting of our Engagement Photos. :) Try the "Zombie" drink! Limit of 2 per person due to the deadly nature of the drink. ;)

Amazing spot to spend the day at the beach. You won't need to pack a cooler since there are tons of restaurants and shops along Pacific Coast Highway, steps from the sand.

This is an amazing day spa right on site at the Commerce Casino and Hotel. They offer a full range of services, but the spa is also a great place to relax for a morning. For $30 you can gain admission, a luxury robe, and access to the amenities of the spa (including a hot tub, cold dip, sauna, steam room, and theater lounge).

This public park has a TON to do. There's a train ride, pony rides, a train museum, the amazing (free admission) Griffith Observatory for nighttime star gazing or daytime interactive museum exhibits. This park has tons of trails for hiking and biking, for any level of intensity. My favorite is the hike to the Hollywood Sign!
The famous Santa Monica pier is a little amusement park with an incredible ocean view! Super close to Venice Beach boardwalk (for some eclectic craft fair shopping) and muscle beach (where Arnold started to "Pump YOU up." This area of LA is also known for incredible restaurants for foodies.
