What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be cocktail attire. For men, a nice suit and tie or dress pants and a jacket. For women, the options are endless! A knee-length, midi, or full length dress would be perfect. Things to keep in mind: For ladies consider bringing a shawl, light jacket, or even a thicker coat for our southern friends as the weather can be unpredictable in Upstate New York even in late May! Also keep in mind our ceremony will be outside in a grassy area when choosing footwear. Overall, we want our guests to feel their best and have a great time, so bring your dancing shoes no matter what you choose to wear!

Where will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception take place?

Answer

All events will be held onsite at Springside Inn. The ceremony will be outdoors in an area called The Grove. Both the cocktail hour and reception will take place inside the Inn. Guests will also have access to the stone patio at the back of the Inn during cocktail hour and the reception.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

For our guests unfamiliar with Upstate NY weather generally, the temperature will be in the 70s. However, it can be quite unpredictable and varied year to year. We recommend checking the weather for more accurate information prior to the event.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While Cade and I would love to include you and all your loved ones we have indicated guests with a plus one on the address of your invitation or in the RSVP section of our website.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love you and your children, we respectfully ask that you leave the little ones at home.
