This restaurant never disappoints, as it has great service, and in my opinion (Jaime), it has some of the best Mexican food in the area. Good spot for breakfast tacos.
Cabernet Grill Texas Wine Country Restaurant
An anniversary staple for the two of us, we can't recommend Cabernet Grill enough. Plan to leave so happy, yet so miserably full. Reservations are a must and need to be made ahead of time if you really want to make sure you can get in or in in a reasonable amount of time. They do have a nice lounge with amazing cocktails if there is a wait so waiting would have an up side!
Ogle Brewery/Arch Ray Winery
As delicious winery/brewery/distillery that offers a relaxing fire to enjoy your drinks of choice.
Wildseed Farms
If you are interested in Texas History, especially in Texas wildflowers this is a stop you have to make. Lady Bird Johnston herself reached out to the founders of Wild Seed Farms to aid her in her Texas Wildflower initiative. Now they are the largest provider of Texas Bluebonnets in the Country. The history, atmosphere, and wine are highly recommended by both of us from our last anniversary trip in the area.
Rhinory
The name doesn't lie, they do in fact have a live Rhino named Blake. We are members of the wine club and hopefully you will all enjoy some of their wine at the wedding. We do encourage you to stop in beforehand to see Blake in person and learn from the staff on their building efforts for Rhino conservation.

Calling all Aggies! Messina Hoff is an Aggie-owned Texas winery. Dedicated to supporting Texas agriculture and rooted in the Spirit of Aggieland, were they craft 100% Texas wines from Texas grapes.

This is one of our favorites! This is located in Downton Fredericksburg, and it's a great spot to relax and enjoy your favorite cocktail, or a glass of your favorite wine.
National Museum of the Pacific War
If you enjoy history as much as we do, this museum will feed your hunger for a true look into the realities of war. The museum is three parts so be prepared to spend a good portion of the day at the museum taking in all it has to offer.
