Hotel Ballast offers free shuttle services to and from Wilmington International Airport and is within walking distance to the wedding venue, so no day-of travel is required. If you are planning on reserving a room here, please do so ASAP so we can choose to add more rooms to our block if needed. Since Wilmington is also hosting the Ironman Triathlon this weekend. Eight rooms are blocked off in Downtown Wilmington's Hampton Inn (4 King rooms and 4 Queen rooms). The following link will allow you to book a room for $179/night. This hotel is located on Grace Street between 2nd Street and 3rd Street, which is within walking distance to the wedding venue. Check-In 3:00 PM Friday, October 18 and Check-Out 11:00 AM Sunday, October 20 This rate includes complimentary breakfast. Best Western Plus Westgate Inn & Suites

There is no group rate for this hotel option, but current rates are showing lower price points than downtown Wilmington hotels. This hotel is located in Leland, NC-- just over the Cape Fear Bridge. Guests will need to drive or take Uber/Lyft from this location as it is 7 miles (15 mins) from the wedding venue. Uber/Lyft or another car service would be the best option since parking may be scarce in downtown Wilmington.
