FAQs

Question

Are extra guests or +1's allowed at the ceremomy and/or resort stay?

Answer

Yes guests and +1s will be allowed, but will need to be cleared with either the groom or bride first, as we have to plan out the number of rooms and guests at the resort/ceremony with our planner. If you would like to bring one, they will have to pay for their seat at the ceremony and reception.

Question

Are children under 18 welcome?

Answer

We're limiting the number of children at the ceremony so everyone can enjoy it and have minimal responsibilities during their stay. The only child allowed will be Michael (Best man & brother of the groom's son).

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Preferably, the sooner you know, the better, as we have a window by which we must inform the resort how many rooms are part of our room block and how many people will be attending. Click on the RSVP tab on this website!

Question

Dress Code?

Answer

No white or I will meep you up. The wedding ceremony and reception will be on/by the beach and in a tropical climate. Dress to look good but stay comfortable in warm weather (don't want to be super sweaty or a stankamon at a wedding).

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

April 20th at the latest! We will be hosting a welcome dinner at the resort for all of our guests on April 21st. More details to come, but at the moment, the resort requires our guests to have the ceremony in the middle of their stay. They will allow exceptions on a case-by-case basis, and we will have further details on that shortly. Expected travel dates for our guests are April 20th - April 23, 2027. Our hotel room block requires 3 night minimum.

Question

When can I plan my flight and stay?

Answer

Shortly, we will be contacting our wedding planner with expected number of guests and rooms in the room block. Once that is done, we will receive a link to share with all of our guests, which will have a DISCOUNT for EVERYONE booking in our room block, so please wait for us to send this out!

Question

What is included in my hotel stay while there for the ceremony?

Answer

Our guests are required to book 3 days at the resort for the wedding/ceremony (generally the day before, the day of, and the day after). The resort is ALL INCLUSIVE with FOOD and DRINKS included, among many other things (beaches, pools, wifi, etc etc). Please check out more information for The Fives Beaches in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico!

Question

What are my options for dining if I have dietary restrictions or require accomodations?

Answer

Please let us know if you have ANY dietary restrictions or necessary accommodations so we can let our planner know for the ceremony/reception! For your stay, there will be many options in the resort food wise!

Question

We encourage guests to book through the group booking platform whenever possible, or there will be an additional fee. If you see there is a room category that is unavailable and it is a higher category, please let us know which room you’d like so we can help coordinate as best as we can.
