The Love Birds met when Jaiden's family volunteered to be part of a merger with the congregation Logan's family attended, and the families became close friends. Jaiden spent a lot of time on the Crist's farm helping out, which gave her the ability to get to know Logan throughout the following years. Logan was pretty quiet but would open up to Jaiden without even realizing it. Through these conversations, Jaiden got to see that there is much more to Logan than he let on. She found she enjoys Logan's odd humor very much. She observed how much he cares about many different things and how observant he is in his quiet way. Jaiden admired how he took on the challenge of joining the Hindi group all on his own in an effort to find ways to increase his work for Jehovah. During this same time, Logan didn't notice Jaiden much beyond her being another one of his sister's friends with whom he felt comfortable with. Things took a turn one Friday evening when they met up and spoke about the possibility of dating each other. They had beach plans a few days later and well...you can all guess the outcome from that conversation! It didn't take long for Logan to not only love Jaiden but also fall deeply in love with her as he quickly discerned her profound defining qualities. Logan saw the depth of how spiritually minded Jaiden is and how sincere and important her personal relationship with Jehovah is. He saw how she prioritizes Jehovah in her life, even when experiencing personal difficulties and hardships. Through observing conversations and interactions with others, he noted how genuinely loving and caring Jaiden is. He admires that she is loving, not only towards her family but also to friends and strangers alike, even if it is taxing on her. Logan really came to appreciate how patient and understanding Jaiden is with him as words don't come easily to express himself. He genuinely feels this is a wonderful gift of hers and a blessing for him. “Jaiden speaks Logan” he says happily. Jaiden and Logan enjoy studying, going to the beach for sunsets, cooking, dancing with each other, and share an appreciation for old trucks, just to name a few things. But more than anything else, just talking with each other about anything and everything is their favorite thing to do. As they got to know each other, they came to realize how many interests they have in common, as well as how many interests they don't share but are willing to take a part of just to support one another. During their time together, they've endured the loss of Jaiden's Abuelito, to whom she was extremely close to. As Abuelito's end was approaching, Logan made sure to spend as much time as possible with him, to have conversations with him, help Jaiden put him to bed, help him take his medications, and help move him around the house as he weakened. When Jaiden would breakdown at seeing her Abuelito's deteriorating condition, Logan would hold her close and offer up prayers to Jehovah to help her endure and he would hum Kingdom Melodies in her ear. Logan did all this as he realized how much he already loved Jaiden and how much Abuelito meant to her, therefore, making Abuelito important to him as well. Jaiden already loved Logan but after going through this loss with Logan at her side, she loves and appreciates him at a new level she can't express...and for those who know Jaiden, she's never at a loss for words! The Love Birds started using the term "You're my Person" once they realized they were in love because it expresses how they feel and see one another. Jaiden and Logan can no longer see life without one another. They've already experienced how allowing Jehovah to guide their way opens the door for many blessings. Their hope is to continue strengthening their relationship with Jehovah individually and collectively as a married couple since they are both wholeheartedly convinced that a genuinely happy and successful marriage requires placing Jehovah God at the center of their lives.
