FAQs

We are so grateful to be celebrating this chapter of our lives with the people we love most. We know destination weddings come with questions, and we want this experience to feel as easy, joyful, and memorable as possible for everyone joining us. Below you’ll find helpful details to guide your planning — and if you’re ever unsure, please know we’re just a message away and can’t wait to share this special time together.
Question

Why this resort is special to us?

Answer

The Grand Sirenis holds a very special place in our hearts. When we visited in 2024, we were instantly drawn to its quiet beauty, surrounded by lush jungle and a sense of peace that felt so us. From that moment on, Austin and I couldn’t imagine saying “I do” anywhere else. This place feels like an escape from the world, and we love the idea of celebrating our marriage here while creating new memories with the people we love most. It’s more than a wedding destination — it’s an opportunity to slow down, relax, and share a beautiful, built‑in vacation together.

Question

How will RSVPing work?

Answer

A formal invitation, including the RSVP link, will be mailed in the coming months. To make planning a little easier, you’re welcome to place a deposit at any time — an RSVP is not required to do so. You can make your deposit whenever you’re ready and confirm your attendance once the invitation arrives. We hope this helps make the planning process smooth and stress‑free, and we can’t wait to celebrate together in paradise.

Booking Flights?

Answer

While guests are encouraged to book the flights that work best for their schedules. Don’t forget— We highly recommend using your airline points, miles, or family passes; it can be a fantastic way to save on airfare! Jaiden will be on the lookout for good flight deals as well and will keep everyone updated. Good days to look at flights are Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Boxing Day. We also recommend using Skyscanner, where you can get notified when there is a sale on the flights.

Question

When should I arrive and depart?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least one day before the wedding so you can settle in, relax, and enjoy the resort. Departure dates are totally flexible. We are genuinely so thankful to have your presence there for however long it is.

Answer

Transportation options including airport shuttles and private transfers will be coordinated by Courtney and the Hotel. Once you put a deposit down, Courtney will reach out and answer questions you may have.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Beach Semi-Formal - elegant, effortless, and comfortable. Think light, airy fabrics and polished resort‑style looks that are perfect for a tropical setting. Sundresses, flowy maxi dresses, linen suits, dress shirts, and dressy sandals are all welcome. While heels aren’t discouraged, we recommend wedges or flats so you can dance comfortably on the sand. We kindly request that gentlemen avoid sandals and shorts.
