Owen and Jaid ran on the same cross country and track team in college, and they quickly became good friends for many years. After their time as college teammates came to an end, they began dating and realized that they were suitable teammates for life. Knowing that Owen was shortly headed to St. Louis, MO to pursue a Masters in Divinity from Concordia Seminary, the couple decided it would be best to get engaged, married, and move together (all within the matter of one month, phew!). They got married on August 1st, 2025 with just immediate family, and now they are looking forward to welcoming all their friends and family for a wedding celebration on their one-year anniversary!
