Neelam and Jai met each other as management consultants at Deloitte in 2018, their first jobs out of college. While the "official" record may show that Jai made the first move by asking Neelam out, the truth is that Neelam, in fact, made the first move at the iconic WeHo bar, Harlowe. From corporate happy hours to spontaneous trips together to Ensenada and Mykonos, Neelam and Jai's relationship quickly grew from colleagues to friends to partners in life. In a true test of their relationship, COVID lockdowns (2020) began just a week after Neelam and Jai moved in together in a tiny, dark 1-bedroom apartment in the heart of Santa Monica. They somehow made it through co-working and living together during that time, despite Jai's booming voice on non-stop meetings through the day and Neelam's *quirky* habits around the house. After a pitch deck and relentless convincing (Neelam was persistent), in 2022, they welcomed a new member to their family— Kaia, a mini bernedoodle. She is a feisty, cuddly sweet angel who quickly captured our hearts and is the center of our home. Today, Neelam, Jai, and Kaia live happily together in their home in Marina Del Rey, CA. Jai is an entrepreneur, running his own business for the last 2 years, and Neelam is a budding executive at Dr. Squatch, a men's personal care brand (if you ever need soap, Neelam has it). They couldn't be more excited to celebrate their wedding this August after more than 7 years of dating and 18 months of engagement (FINALLY!)
