We met when we were 18, thanks to a mutual friend who brought me along to Jai's party. We discovered we’d been travelling to the same places — from Hong Kong to Florida — sometimes even finding ourselves in the same airport at the same time without ever knowing it. Somehow, our paths kept crossing before we even realised they were meant to. Along the way, we became best friends. Between endless chats, shared memories, and our favourite pastime of enthusiastically dissing Love Island contestants, our bond only deepened. What started as friendship slowly became something neither of us could ignore. Then, in July 2022, Jai asked me out — and from that moment on, everything changed. What followed felt effortless, magical, and full of laughter. The friendship we had built became the foundation for a love that feels steady, exciting, and completely right.
