We met as mutual friends through Janine (Jai's Aunt) in 2015. Was friend for a couple of years and lost contact. Fast forward to October 2021, Janine was hosting a fundraiser for "Joan's House". We both attended the event to support Janine's fundraiser and there is where we reunited again.

On this date, surrounded by their family and friends in Washington D.C., Jai proposed to Channing Montgomery after reconnecting in 2021. It was a surprise proposal, from October 2022 to January 2023 and boy was it hard to keep it a secret. This day represents the day that Channing paid a visit for the first time, one year later.
