FAQs

We can't wait to celebrate with you! Given the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking additional measures to ensure we all celebrate safely. We'd also like to provide you with information about the layout of the ceremony and reception so that you can make informed decisions on precautions that you'd like to take as well.
Question

Will I need to take a COVID-19 test prior to the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we are asking all guests regardless of vaccination status to please take a PCR (preferred) and/or Rapid Antigen test 72 hours or sooner before the wedding on April 2nd. For PCR tests, please copy/paste the link below into your browser to find a testing site near you at no cost. https://www.sandiegocounty.gov/content/sdc/hhsa/programs/phs/community_epidemiology/dc/2019-nCoV/testing.html For our out-of-town guests, if you're staying at our wedding hotel the zip code is 92106 to find one closest to this location. If you're staying near our home in Chula Vista the zip code is 91910.

Question

Where do I verify that I have taken a COVID-19 test?

Answer

Once all guests in your party have been tested, please copy/paste the link below into your browser to verify that you have tested negative. In the event that you or someone in your party tests positive, please contact Jahnina as soon as possible at Jahninam@gmail.com https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZwfX0k7K10fS6QYNtmFWB0ob29t3EsRu89PgDOqpXuU/edit?usp=sharing

Question

Will masks be required?

Answer

The venue will enforce any state mandates that are placed at the time of the wedding. Currently, in California, there is a mask mandate while indoors when not actively drinking and/or eating. This mask mandate is set to end on February 15th but we will continue to monitor the status as we get closer. If there is no state mandate at the time of the wedding, we will not be requiring masks but you are more than welcome to choose to wear one if you'd like.

Question

Will the ceremony & reception be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside. The reception will take place inside. Due to the limited space inside our reception hall, we can't make accommodations for everyone to be socially distanced. There will be approximately 85 guests attending the wedding and each table will seat 8. Due to the nature of our reception hall, we will be requiring negative covid tests, providing individual hand sanitizers, and serving guest meals individually. If you have any concerns, please let us know. We understand that this pandemic has affected many and if for any reason you feel uncomfortable attending we completely understand if you can not to attend. We just ask that you please update your RSVP status by March 2nd.
