My favorite season of all times is Fall, so when Jay told me his parents were coming to visit in September we made plans to take them up to the mountains and take photos. Jay said it’d be the perfect time to learn how to take photos, I was like yes that’s perfect! So we planned a day up in the mountains. He had told me he had gone to a specific place he loved and wanted to go there. So that day, we dress up in fall color clothes to fit the theme of the season, we take both of our parents and go walk in the town of Breckenridge. This whole time his sisters and mine and friends were setting up the area where he was going to propose. Once it was getting closer to the sun setting he tells me there was a spot he wants to take me to see the sunset, but it’s so beautiful and his favorite spot he needed to blindfold me. I thought okay, sure if you absolutely don’t want me to see where this spot is at. This whole time I was starting to get suspicious because he wouldn’t let go of his phone and who does he need to talk to SO much. Once we’re driving up he tells me there’s going to be a bench and that’s where we’re going to stop and blind fold you so I helped look for that bench. Once we found it, there was a red bow on it but it didn’t click... well now it was time.. the blindfold. Once we are walking there (felt like forever) finally we stop and that’s when I start to get a weird feeling it wasn’t just a sunset we were going to see, then why was it taking him so long for us to see the sunset but then a song comes on.. I can’t help falling in love with you.... I broke into tears. I knew what he was doing, and my parents were quiet. He ended up having to remove my blind fold because I was starting to ball my eyes and couldn’t do it myself... he got down on one knee whispered some beautiful words that I can’t remember what he said I just know they were beautiful and if I will marry him, I said yes...
