Flight

Incheon International Airport (ICN), South Korea

The ICN airport is about 40 minutes from Seoul by the AREX Express train.

Train

ICN Airport → Seoul

We recommend taking the AREX Express train from Incheon International Airport (ICN) to Seoul Station. The journey takes about 43 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the airport or on Klook (click 'View' below for the link).

Train

Seoul → Daejeon

We recommend taking the KTX high-speed train from Seoul Station to Daejeon Station. Tickets can be purchased at the station or online on the Korail website (available up to a month in advance; click 'View' below for the link). We do not recommend booking your tickets through other websites as they often have price markups. On the Korail website: - Select train type: KTX or KTX-Sancheon - Choose between economy or first class

Travel Note

Travel Requirements

Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months before your departure date. Check entry requirements for South Korea, as some passports may require a visa. U.S. passport holders: No visa or K-ETA is required (K-ETA exemption for U.S. citizens is extended until Decemeber 31, 2025) Indonesian passport holders: If you don’t plan to visit South Korea again soon, apply for a single-entry tourism visa (C-3-9). The visa is valid for 3 months, so the earliest you should apply is around the end of February 2025.
