Cedar Creek, as you may know, holds so many memories for us. We have taken many walks through the park, swam down at the lake, played some frisbee golf, but most memorable of all it's where we got engaged. The park has plenty of trails to go down and so much beauty to take in. The park is open from 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. for everyone to enjoy if they wish!
Dairy Freeze is a great choice if you are in need of a sweet treat or a little meal. We love Dairy Freeze, as do all of Fairmont's residents. While their items are affordable and delicious, once you have your order you can take a quick walk to Gomsrud Park and enjoy the big playground or the breezy lake.
Gomsrud park is a great choice for families who are traveling for the wedding and need something for adults and kids alike. The park has two playgrounds, the original playground with all a kid could need and the adventure playground that is wheelchair accessible and fun for everyone. Gomsrud is located right in between Budd lake to the North and Hall Lake to the South. Both lakes are great for swimming, fishing, or going out on the boat if you are able.
Green Giant Statue Park, more commonly known as the "Jolly Green Giant" is a fun sight to see if you are in Blue Earth. There is also a museum for the statue and plenty of spots to take photos to remember.
Steinberg Nature Park is located right on the edge of Blue Earth and another great choice for enjoying natures beauty. The park provides a view of native prairie plants, the Blue Earth River, woodlands, birds and other wildlife, and natural habitat.
