Their story began at Mini Pet Mart. They saw each other for the first time when Jaelyn walked into the store for her interview. They started working weekends together and Jakob was very set on getting her to hang out with him; trying to sway her with his pet ducks. As they got to know one another better, she found herself wanting to be around him more, swayed by his charm. She eventually said yes to him when he offered to take her on her first official date. After that first date, they were always together. They became more than partners and lovers, but best friends. He asked her to be his girlfriend a month after their first date, and then his wife on Christmas Day three years after that.
