If you are just planning on attending our wedding events, most likely not! The church and reception venue/hotel are a 9 min walk (0.4 miles) from each other and there will be transportation provided between the two on the day of event. The rehearsal dinner is a 5 minute car ride (1.3 miles) from the hotel so guests can easily uber or coordinate a carpool with other wedding party members. There is also a free trolley service that runs in Ybor city with a stop just feet from the hotel entrance.
As there will be limited street parking in Ybor, we recommend utilizing public parking at the numerous garages nearby or guests are welcome to use Hotel Haya's valet services as well. The dress code is formal attire, black tie optional. Potential options for formalwear include suits, tuxedos, church appropriate cocktail dresses, and formal gowns. Please no jeans, sneakers, polo shirts or sundresses.
The ceremony will be held in a Catholic Church and will be approximately 30~45 minutes long. Transportation will be provided from the hotel to the church for the hour before and after the ceremony.
No! We encourage our guests to be creative and dress in what feels comfortable to them. Bridesmaids will be wearing dark forrest green and guests are welcome to wear colors that blend well with the wedding colors (emerald, ivory, peach, neutrals).
Gifts are absolutely not necessary, the bride & groom simply request your presence! However, for those who would like to send a physical or monetary gift there is a registry link with options within our website. Please feel free to gift outside of the registry as well if you so please! Any gifts will be greatly appreciated.
The formal reception ends at 10:00 pm, however the bride & groom invite any who choose to stay to continue the party in downtown Ybor afterwards! Official afterparty plans to come soon.
