Jori Bryant

Maid of Honor

My baby sister! My built in best friend. Jori is truly one of a kind and I don’t know what my life would be like without her. She means everything to me. From sports, to tv shows, to what we like to eat, we just have always synced and I thank my parents for giving me her! My entire life I’ve tried to be the best example for her and I’m so excited to have her help plan our wedding.

Patrick Brumfield Jr.

Best Man

My big bro! All my life I’ve been called “Pat little brother”. He’s truly a different breed and never been afraid to be himself or be different. The only person I know who can break down a car and put it back together all by himself in a day. He’s unknowingly taught me so much; how to come out of my blocks in track, how to be funny, how to ride a bike, how to cut grass, and last but not least how to be my own person. It’s funny we used to watch Lord of the Rings growing up, and on my special day he’s going to be handing me the ring to give to my wife.

Trey McCoy

Man of Honor

We were separated at birth! The first friend my brain actually remembers having. Almost 15 years of friendship. The one who will make me laugh until I have stomach pains. We also grew up in Laplace together. My energy immediately lifts 50 points whenever we’re together! Markcus and I actually argued over who’s side he would stand on because we both wanted him haha. My brother, therapist, comedic relief, and my oldest friend all wrapped into one. Fun Fact: we have a picture together at our Kindergarten graduation.

Trey Golden

Best Man

What can I say? Roll Tide. The only person in my life that I will allow not to be a LSU fan . It’s been 15 years and my guy is still in my corner. There hasn’t been a time where I’ve called him and he didn’t pick up unless he was moving a backhoe or after an Alabama loss to LSU. He’s been my best friend for most of my life. From freestyle battles to the news of your son IV on the way we’ve seen and done it all. I’m proud of the man he’s become and the man he pushed me to be. One thing in life I know for sure, I had to make my best friend my best man.

Kalon Bergeron

Groomsman

My GOD Blood brother , the only person I come to for fashion advice. The first person house my moms let me spend the night by. The guy that everyone I know is cool with. The only person I know who can tell me about music before I can get a chance to listen to it. We’re born in the same month 7 days apart and it shows because it’s like we’re the same person. I can call him and he says “Bro I was just about to call you" and vice versa. From youth conference conventions to being up early in the morning for Supreme drops, I can count on my bro to have me in mind when something special is going down.

Whitney Sylvain

Bridesmaid

One of my oldest, most loyal, and fashionable friends! Whitney and I have known each other since about the 4th grade. We grew up only about 15 minutes away from each other. She currently resides in New York City so I don't get to see her nearly as often as I would like, but she is always always there when I need her. One of the most selfless and caring women I know. I am honored to have her by my side!

Chase Warner

Groomsman

Let me start off by saying a “poom poom” haha. The only man I know who I will out right say can sing better than me. This man is the real deal famous. This guy has been on ESPN, a Nilly track and God knows what else. Met him at LSU freshman year in the cafeteria and it’s been nothing but laughter, singing, and dancing ever since. I remember a time my guy picked me to be on his UREC basketball team knowing I was trash and I told him “All you’re getting out of me is a dribble dribble pass” and he was cool with that. My closest friend in Houston and the most loyal guy I know.

Quenisha Thomas

Bridesmaid

My 1st cousin! Growing up I always looked up to Quenisha. We are only 2 years apart in age and I remember just always wanting to do exactly whatever she was doing. I stood by her side when she married her best friend in 2019 and I am so thankful she will be by mine. I call her my wife role model! Such a sweet sweet soul and will give you the shirt off her back if you asked. I know our grandmother is so proud of us both.

Diamond Williams

Bridesmaid

The best present Markcus ever gave me was Diamond! Markcus and her boyfriend Chris became great friends and thought that Diamond and I would hit it off and they were 200% correct. I have never in my life met a human as positive, light hearted, and caring as her. I laugh until I’m about to cry every time I see her. Her heart is as big as my venue. I’m so happy to have her energy on my big day.

Chris Matthews

Groomsman

My GUY, My family, or should I say Slim. This dude right here man is hands down the best hype man that I know. I can walk in wearing a trash bag and he’s gonna swear it’s Balenciaga or some dope designer, and this is from the first day I met him. On the first day of working together at Macy’s I knew from the way we both handled a coworker that it was up from then on out. My guy has never missed a birthday, anniversary, going away party, anything I had planned he is taking off to show up no matter the repercussions on his end. He’s given me a place to stay. He’s cooked whole meals because I was coming to town. All while playing blockboy and young dolph!! My friend for life.

Tajai McCollum

Bridesmaid

I interviewed Tajai for a position at work and slowly but surely she became a human I couldn’t live without! Her authenticity is so refreshing and you can’t help but love her. She actually inspired me to get my Masters degree. With Tajai I know that I can be 100% myself at all times. She is easily the most giving person that I know. Every single year for my birthday since we have met she has given me such thoughtful gifts.

Angelina Scott

Bridesmaid

My coworker turned friend! Ang and I met while both working at AT&T. One day I had a really rough day at work and she was right there for me the entire time. That’s when I knew that she was someone special. I never imagined that we would have grown to become this close. From the moment I got engaged, I knew she would be the person who prayed over me before I walked down the aisle. I look up to her so much for how deep her faith runs in every single situation no matter what.

Orlandon McCallister

Groomsman

BIG O my brother from another mother. (really my aunt) People couldn’t have told me you weren’t blood. He taught me how to tie a double knot Windsor and how to speak to women. He was the first person that told me not to spray cologne directly on my clothes, but to spritz in the air and walk through it. He also was the one who convinced me to try out for middle school football and that was all she wrote. Even though I didn’t listen to you all the time you still had my back . You were my back up singer, offensive lineman, and my formal attire guru.

Jaleja Page

Bridesmaid

My friend turned line sister! We had the same major at LSU and we were actually classmates before we both became members of AKA on the same line. AKA brought us closer than ever and she’s one of the sweetest and most genuine people I have ever met! She also decided to move to New York and I set her and Whitney up on a friend date and now they’re friends! The captain of the Turn Up Committee!

Miquel James

Groomsman

The real king James! We met at Chesbrough Elementary and we were both born in December so we had to wait to start school. I remember he was the fastest kid on the playground and I decided to race him one day. I won, but only because he fell! He’s always been the smart, funny, athletic guy that everyone looked up to. I remember he used to spend the night by my house and he would ask if he had to bring church clothes and then say “I don’t know man y’all be getting up early lol!” He convinced me to come to LSU to walk on. It made our bond stronger and to this day those were the best two years of my life.

Jordan Griffin

Groomsman

When I think of the best athlete that I’ve ever seen in person no doubt my big cuz Jordan comes to mind. There wouldn’t have been a #27 without number #24! The sole reason I thought I could become a star athlete was all because of him. He never took it easy on me growing up but wouldn’t allow anyone to mess with me from football, basketball and track practice to the real world. He always told me footwork, power, and endurance is what makes a great running back. Those same traits made him a standout dancer after touchdowns and at every school dance. He’s the only person that may out dance me at on my big day! He has shown me that no matter how many trails and tribulations come your way, with the love of GOD and a couple of true friends and family members you can make it through anything. To the running back that changed my vision on the field and in life thanks for being on my team!
