We met in the library at Azusa Pacific University. After several hangouts we discovered that one of us had a huge crush...can you guess who? Long story short after a sushi date that Josiah denied was a real date (He wanted to give off a better impression of what he considered a real date) , we talked over the entire Christmas Break and when we came back Josiah planned a romantic evening resulting in him asking me out officially. And well, as they all say, the rest is history.
I thought we were going to meet up with a friend of ours in Apple Hill. On the way to meet our friend Josiah and I stopped to get coffee and of course I spilled the entire cup all over my legs and the car. Upset and cold from spilling my iced coffee I refused to get out of the car when we parked at Apple Hill. Josiah had to drag me out of the car as we walked around "waiting for our friend to meet us". We stumbled (more like I stumbled) upon a set up in the Christmas trees that had a sign saying "love is sweet" with a blanket and pillows. I looked to Josiah and said...."this is probably someone's area, we should go"...he replied "or it could be our area". I was shocked and looked around and saw a man with a camera in the bushes snapping away. Next thing I know Josiah is on his knee and I made the easiest decision I have ever made in my life. Agreeing to spend the rest of my life with my dream guy.
