WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Jaeda and Carl are highschool sweethearts. Some of their favorite memories of high school are being able to goof around with each other. By the time Jaeda and Carl get married, they will have been together for six and a half years! Meaning six and a half years of unconditional love. They are so excited to share their special day with you!

Jaeda and Carl were planning a trip to Deadwood on February 21-23, with a few of Carl's family members, to celebrate Jaeda's 21st birthday. Jaeda was still living in Vermillion, so she was going to meet Carl and his family somewhere in Sioux Falls to save time. She was about halfway to Sioux Falls when her tire blew (of course). Not to mention she was going 80 mph on the interstate. She called Carl in tears, and about an hour later Carl, his dad, and brother came to the rescue. Everyone kept telling her "Don't let this ruin your weekend!". This was her first hint. Their first night in Deadwood was so fun, and they made memories to last a lifetime! The next morning, Saturday the 22nd, Jaeda, Carl, Steve, and Darla (Carl's parents) decided to go and see Mount Rushmore! Jaeda had never seen it, and they were only an hour away! On the drive there, they passed this cute gazebo that overlooked a lake, and it even had rose petals around it! Steve really wanted us to go and check it out, but Carl said "Nah". This was Jaeda's second hint. Once they got to Mount Rushmore they took pictures! Then they went inside and got a little coffee. There was a speaker about the creation of Mount Rushmore, so they sat and listened to him speak. After awhile Steve suggested we go outside and take a few more pictures. They insisted that Jaeda and Carl take pictures. Jaeda was a little annoyed because they already took a bunch of pictures earlier. While we were taking a picture Jaeda could feel Carl shaking and she instantly knew what was going on. Carl got down on one knee and said "Hey, Jaeda, will you marry me?" Jaeda replied with "Awww, YES!" Now they are planning their wedding, and are so excited to celebrate their love!
