Downtown Mall

There are nice walking trails at the base of the mountain (the Monticello Trails), as well as a nice sunset view over the city if you ascend to the orchard. Bonus: This is where we first met ;)

Carter Mountain Orchard

Good option if you'd like to play disc golf, go mountain biking, paddling, or enjoy some nice walking trails.

Walnut Creek Park

Right near the wedding venue! Tends to be more rigorous trails.

Patricia Ann Byrom Forest Preserve

There are numerous options here, you can't go wrong :)

Shenandoah National Park

Want to take a scenic drive? Plenty of overlooks, day hikes, and picnic spots.
