We met in medical school, first becoming classmates before developing a friendship. Years later as our friendship and feelings grew (but before we admitted it), we found ways to seek each other out. In the multi-level library of Boston University's medical campus, we each had the floor we preferred (Delia on floor 11 and Jae on floor 13), but we each thought the other liked to study on the 12th floor. From there we developed "our" table, each going there in the hopes of running into the other. We would study (and not study) at that table until the library closed. The pandemic hit and we grew even closer, marking the official start of our relationship in April 2020—and it has been a beautiful start of our lives together since then. We have been through years of medical school, residency, living life, traveling, adventures, and cat parenthood since that start in 2020. We are grateful to celebrate among so many people we love, in the beautiful city we fell in love in. Thank you for being a part of our story, and cheers to the start of many more years together!
